50in50: Sublime Moments
What’s this? I’m trying to blog once a day for 50 days! Inspired by Forking Mad and Lou Plummer.
Can you make a list of 20 moments in your current or past life that you would classify as sublime?
I don’t really want to do this one as it seems fairly personal for a public blog post, but maybe I’ll throw a few out there… In no particular order:
- Summer nights in 2015 walking/running around the lakes in uptown Minneapolis
- Waking up with Miranda in college and going across the street to get donuts from the gas station
- The last night I spent in Worcester studying abroad (bittersweet, maybe not sublime but memorable)
- First night in New York City (in Times Square no less)
- Reading on my parents’ deck in high school
- Not a moment but winter/spring ‘19 has a special place in my heart as I had just started a medication that turned my life around and I felt great
- Harry and the Potters at the Bell House in Brooklyn, 2019
- Dead & Co. at Wrigley Field 2023
- Kissing Miranda goodbye under a streetlight while it was snowing in Duluth in 2015 or 16.
I’m not sure I can think of any more, but they are nice thoughts!
