What words of wisdom would you have appreciated from your younger self?

I’ve thought about this before, and I don’t have a great answer. I do know that I was really disappointed that I didn’t get into a “good” school like I wanted to - I was rejected from MIT, waitlisted to UChicago. If I could give my younger self a hint about the future, I’d tell them not to worry so much because UMD was going to be the best time ever.
