Do you have a gratitude practice? Why or why not? What sort of things are you grateful for?

I don’t. I feel like I maybe should, but it’s one of those things that I haven’t found the motivation for.

Here’s what I do do, though: I try to be explicit and generous with my gratitude and praise in the moment, especially at work. Often I’ve found that the work I’m proudest of can go unnoticed. I don’t always draw attention to my own good work (okay, sometimes, but not usually) but I will make a point to talk up a coworker to their manager or tell them specifically when they did something I found really cool, useful, smart, and/or something that just made my life easier.
